The News Schedule

Mon – Fri

From 6am in the morning Club Asia provides local, national and international news at the top of the hour till 9am. We also provide news headlines of the top stories every half hour. The in house bulletins are placed during the peak hours of Breakfast ensuring our news reaches the maximum number of our audience.

From 10am till 6pm we have outsourced news providing our audience with national and international news.

Sat – Sun

Over the weekend our outsourced news service provides our listeners with national and international news between the hours of 9am and 6pm on a Saturday and 8am to midnight on Sunday.

News Team

The Club Asia News Team consists of a Broadcast Journalist and a News and Programming Manager.

Amjad Parkar- The BJ is responsible for the sourcing, research, scripting, compiling and presenting the news during the in house bulletins each morning between 6am – 9am Monday to Friday.

Rukshana Ali - The News and Programming Manager is responsible for overseeing the news writing and presenting as well as monitoring the quality of the output.
